I’m pleased to announce that my Doll and Teddy Sleeping Bag Sewing Pattern is now available! These little sleeping bags are great for not just dolls and teddies, but mice with giant ears and even Peppa Pig. They make great gifts for both little girls and little boys who have special toys in their lives. They will love to tuck them up in bed and put them down for a little sleep. Both my 2 year old and 4 year old love their sleeping bags and spend ages playing with them
The Doll and Teddy Sleeping Bag Sewing pattern can be made in three different sizes:
- Small: 10 x 6″
- Medium: 13 x 8″
- Large: 16 x 10″….and if this isn’t big enough then you could of course scale it up even further on a photocopier!
The Sleeping Bag has been designed with a ‘roomy’ base….

…to help accommodate teddies (or Peppa Pig) with roundy roundy tummies and big fat feet, whilst remaining oh so comfortable for slimmer friendly folk
As with all of my patterns, included is a list of all the materials you will need and features digitally drawn pattern pieces. The pattern also features plenty of colour photographs to illustrate the clearly written instructions. If you fancy it and have the skills there are also a few tips for incorporating a little quilting or even some embroidery on the front flap of the sleeping bag.
This project is perfect for a confident beginner or intermediate sewer.
The pattern is available to buy and download from Craftsy for $6 (which is about £4), or you can buy directly from my pattern shop on the Little Black Duck Facebook page

This is sooo incredibly cute!
What a sweet idea for kids…oh and some adults would love them
too!
Cheers, Anita.
My daughter would have loved this so much as a little girl! Such a ood idea.
