Sorry for the delay in announcing my winner of the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day. I’m really gutted as I had a terrible stomach bug. I had to spend several days in bed, arrange emergency childcare and get a friend to drive me to the doctor’s surgery (massive thanks to everyone that helped out). What a complete waste of a couple of days, and worst of all I didn’t get the opportunity to enter any of the other amazing giveaways that were taking place this past week!

I’ve discovered that the Dorset Cereals web site has a monthly blog awards. You can nominate your favourite blog, or even nominate yourself if you have a blog. At the end of the month the blog with the most votes wins a goodie bag and more importantly a Dorset Cereals egg cup. There is also a prize of a case of cereal for one voter.

I can’t believe that the summer holidays come and go so quickly. Not that I actually go to school, or have any children old enough to attend school, but it just seems to pass by so fast.

If you’re interested in the results from the vote that took place then top of the pile came the Apple print! This is actually one of the best selling Little Black Duck lines, closely followed by the Black Floral – which incidentally came second in the vote
